With Electric piano and Moog bass in hand, we mere mortals simply had no choice but to attempt deconstructing (i.e. ruining) funk music. Layered on-top of these foundational instruments of the genre was a double drum machine setup: one acoustic in sound, one purely electronic. This unique combination created intricate beats which served as the backbone to a pulsing, poly-rhythmic fusion jam.
